We are a team of runners participating in the Hood to Coast Relay in Oregon
August 28-29, 2009.
Although there are 1000 running teams in the Hood to Coast Relay, our team stands out, not because we are a competitive team, but because of our mission. Our mission is to show support for the American Armed Forces and specifically boost the morale of our local Army National Guard unit, the 41st. This year our mission is even more important as the State of Oregon is deploying the largest number of the 41st since WWII.
2009 will be the second year that 360 goes 180 will be fielding a Hood to Coast team. Our team name refers to our primary sponsor 360 Physical Therapy and the location half-way around the world where our "virtual runner" - Major Chris Reese will run each of his 3 legs in Iraq "passing the baton" to us in Oregon "real time" via satellite phone.
